Do you eat your mistakes?

I'm writing this post on Thus night, while I brood over what to do to a kitchen abomination. I tried a recipe for salmon spaghetti, and followed it to a T. However, the end result tastes between vile and disgusting. The dish is too strong, and clashes with itself. I do not enjoy eating it at all. So I'm in an awkward position, where I don't want to throw out a fillet worth of salmon, but I'm quite sure this food is a crime against God. Do you eat your kitchen mistakes? I think I might have to, because I'm really hungry. But the leftovers... might go in the trash. :(

I get around that by eating 100% prepared or processed foods. Stores wouldn't be able to sell them for long if they tasted revolting. For better or worse, I can't remember the last time we actually fixed any meal that isn't cereal.

Salmon and spaghetti are two of my favorite foods- separately. When you were contemplating this culinary marriage you should have listened to the voice in your head that whispered, "Dude, don't cross the streams."

In my defence, at the time, it seemed like a good idea. And I was following a recipe, so I thought, "Hooray, this will work real good!" I didn't know the recipe was written by someone who hates to eat. >.>

I've suffered through a few of my own kitchen disasters - eaten them and then thrown away the leftovers.
Now, what on earth did you do to make the combination fish and pasta go wrong???

Some of us don't make kitchen mistakes! Ha! Some of do though, and that includes me. It's not that I don't like them but one or two others in the house don't.

I too don't like to waste leftovers, but I have been known to toss some on rare occasions.
