I'm shocked! The internets have failed me! Well, not really. You all were right about the species - it's a moose part. (Though, it should be no shock that I have pictures of moose and caribou parts). But it's a moose toe. These are moose phalanges. I guess it's not as easy as I thought! Or, it's not as easy as it is for someone who spends
too much time thinking about game. >.>

I would guess that it's a spine piece.
I was thinking phlanges but had gone astray and exotic because they're so pointy.
Are you aware of some parasite afflicting the moose around Delta Junction? For the past several years, all of the moose I see there look really sad and thin, even in Summer. I could count their ribs! It's so sad.
