KC, I love this photo, I've spent lots of time around Fairbanks, both in the military and as a "tourist" and there is just something about the area . . . as for beer, my last batch of rasbery wheat was alas unevenly proofed so the tasting party last Thursday was perhaps too exciting with the occasional beer bomb . . . the taste was right on though . . .

Steve: This one isn't from Fairbanks. It's actually from the salt marshes of Utah, where I'd done some research a bit back. It's kinda neat down there, because that's where a lot of our waterfowl go to over-winter, in those marshes.

I thought maybe the Brooks Range but after a second look the vegetation isn't quite right - great photo regardless!
