Advanced Robotic Limbs

This is pretty cool. The story on the page is pretty fluffy, but the video off to the right is very neat indeed. In it, amputees use an advanced limb to do all sorts of things that require fine motor control, including picking up a cracker, tearing open a packet of sugar, and what appears to be setting a tissue box on end. The engineering challenge is pretty substantial.

Very, very cool!
